What to expect when renting with Habi:
- Questions or Viewings: Call our office anytime with questions or to book a viewing! You can get in touch by phone, email, Facebook or Whatsapp!
- 360 Virtual Tours Available: Many of our properties offer 360 virtual tours – check these out to get a feel for the property before visiting in person.
- Arrange a Viewing: Seeing the property in person is the best way to ensure it’s the right fit.
- Applying for a Property: After viewing, fill out a quick application form. You’re welcome to add any info you’d like the landlord to consider.
- Approval Process: The landlord reviews all applications submitted and makes the final choice.
- Getting Approved: If selected, you’ll need to pay a holding deposit to secure the property. Then we begin the referencing process.
- Referencing Details: Expect checks on income, credit, and rental history. For those with credit issues, be upfront – many landlords are happy to proceed with a guarantor or rent in advance.
- Sign the Tenancy Agreement: Once references are complete, we’ll send you a tenancy agreement by email for e-signing.
- Paying Your Deposit and First Rent: A few days before moving in, pay the first month’s rent and deposit (which is generally five-week’s rent).
- Bring ID: We’ll need some photographic ID, such as passport, to complete your Right to Rent check.
- Moving Day: We’ll meet you to hand over keys, record meter readings, and answer any last questions
